Here is an interesting article from Web Owls about the “answer machine” of the future, which appeared in the book Childcraft Volume 6: How Things Change, published by Field Enterprises Educational Corporation in 1964. And the "Answer Machine" that they described is pretty much Google today =)

Social Entrepreneur: Heroes from a small planet
The Frontline/World series is a collection of stories about "social entrepreneurs" who innovate in ways that truly transform the world. "These are stories about individuals whose ideas leap beyond charity to find systemic solutions to poverty, education, health and social justice."
You can check out the videos in the Frontline / World series in their website. I found them very inspiring and that there are so much we can do to give back to the society. I am sure many of you have already heard about that "Microfinance" Project and "Hole in the Wall" Project, they are also profiled in the series as well. One of my favorite stories is the Sound of Hope, this heartwarming story shows how music has changed the lives of many children and transformed their society.
