Creative Friday - Wind Up Lamp

I often read/blog/youtube/watch movie in bed and fall asleep and forget to turn off the light. If you are like me, you may find this product useful =)

Wind-up to turn the light on before you go to bed. The light will stay on until the key winds back. You will come to know how many times you need to wind-up. Its main source of power comes from its powerful spring-driven generator. As the high carbon tensile steel spring unwinds, power is transferred to a small dynamo electric generator which produces enough electricity to power of the light.

Watch the final Gmail Collaborative Video =)

Goggle did a fun promotion inviting Gmail users to show how Gmail messages "really" travels around the world. They asked Gmail users to submit their own video clips that passed the Gmail logo from left to right on the camera. Gmail fans from more than 65 countries submitted more than 1,100 videos and Google has compiled many of them into this final clip.

Have fun watching it ! =)

Do you hate bad service ? We do. iHateBadService.ca

I am sure everyone has experienced and are annoyed by bad services. Some people would write lots of complaint letters, hoping they will reach top management and receive the compensation they deserved. Some would have a big fight with the other party on the spot. But I guess most of us would just feel we couldn't really do much about it.

iHateBadService.ca is a new site which allows users to anonymously share their bad experience stories. These stories are posted in their blog so that others can read, subscribe and comment on them. And you can basically complain about anything without the hassle of signing up or registering.

Word of mouth can go a loooong way, and the negative ones can go even further. Companies better watch this space.
